The color of the flower's resin glands change as they ripen. Starting from a milky white color and then changing to an amber. Once the plant is at the peak of ripeness the branches are cut from the stalk and hung to dry in a dark room. After drying, buds are cured to achieve full aroma and flavor. Once the bud is cured, proper storage is required to ensure buds retain all of its unique qualities. The buds are then processed and packaged for delivery to the dispensaries.
